Gentle Flow - stress relief and mental clarity

This  class is a gentle flow practice which honors the individuals' energetic level  in the morning. This class allows you to arrive and enjoy quiet stillness meditation, breath deeper , warm up and energize the body, calm, center and ease the mind. With an emphis on stress relief  You can expect to develop greater body awareness, explore your bodies individual alignment of bones and joints and achieve greater mental clarity .and leave class ready to enter the rest of your day with vitality and equanimity. This class is appropriate for anyone of any age, shape or size. No experience or flexibility required. is fine for any level of experience and any body type. No need to be flexible.

Vinyasa Flow - strength and stamina

Here we flow with vinyasa style sequences to build up stamina and heat with a meditation in motion. Activating the cardio workout  at the same time stretch the muscles for optimal energy flow and flexibility. We focus on mobility, strength, endurance and alignment. You can expect to achieve greater mental clarity , feel stronger, and breath better leaving the class energized with greater sense of your potential.   This class is adaptable to any experience or fitness level but recommended to have had some experience with yoga previously, Or a regular exercise practice.

Gentle Hatha/Yin - Deep stretch and Long holds

A gentle Hatha stye practice. Emphasizing proper alignment stress relief, meditation, and deep breathing for health and vitality. We will energize the body, calm, center and ease the mind. With long holds and deep stretches, We will always make time in this class for readjustment and adaptations, with an emphasis on proper alignment. You can expect to develop greater body awareness, explore your bodies individual alignment of bones and joints and achieve greater mental clarity. This is a Perfect class for those wanting a light practice and focused practice or for beginners.

To understand the immeasurable, the mind must be extraordinarily quiet, still.

MEDITATION 

Wednesdays and Saturdays  7 - 7:45 am

Sundays 4 - 4:45 pm


With a short 15 min discussion at the beginning of each session we review meditation techniques and re affirm intentions. We will follow with a sitting period of 30min,  this meditation practice is a period of silence and stillness useing the breath as our guide inward to greater peace and liberation. Wether you are an experienced mediator or a novice, these meditation sessions are open to you.  We sit together to quiet the mind, holding each other accountable to the intentions and holding the sacred space for safely developing greater self awareness.

Balance Point Wellness  at the Ananda Hill Top Pavilion is located about 1/2 mile down

WHAT IS THE PRICE  WEEKLY GROUP CLASSES

Individual "walk ins" are $ 12.00 per person

Class card $50.00 for 5 sessions - nontransferable, good for 6 months

One month unlimited $ 100.00 - non transferable good for any regularly scheduled class

Carpool reward with a group of 4 or more people and receive the group rate of $10.00 each

There are many great reasons to invest your time and money into a private and personal yoga session.  Here is a short list of some of the top picks:

  •  It may be that you are new to yoga and feel shy to join a class.
  • You may be an experienced yogi but find yourself  in a slump and in need of inspiration for your personal practice   
  • Some postures that seem easy for others feel awkward and hard and you would like guidance on alignment or form, 
  • You may be recovering from an injury, surgery or illness and a group class is not appropriate for you, instead you need one tailored to your needs 
  •  You may also wish to explore other aspects of the ancient practice of yoga that are not a focus of group classes such as: breath work, Ayurveda, meditation techniques, or yoga philosophy. 
There is no better way to deepen your personal practice and get to the nitty-gritty of it all then getting some "one-on-one" time.
