The Set Up
A traditional Maya alter is made for the ceremony, to enure the spirits are welcomed and welcoming. The offerings are of lighted fire and smoke to connect the earth and sky energy. The Prayers to god and higher powers to guide and protect. To help us heal .
Clearning The Vision
Traditional Copal Incense is used for centuries by the ancient Maya. Copal incense is a completely natural incense that is used to purify the energy of spaces, places and objects. One of the best copal uses is burning it to clear away all the negative energy and make positive changes.
The cleansing
Plants collected and whispered to are gathered before for the bath. each person recieves a special prayer and blessing and a container with medicinal plants and rose water to open the heart and renew the spirit.
It is rubbed and spashed over the face sholders and top of the head. We meditate on our healing and renewal.
