Rental Fees and Taxes

  • Rental Fees: Refer to your reservation agreement whether with Airbnb or communicated at the time of your reservation. .

  • For those booking directly with us (not through Airbnb)  there will be a Government required  9% Hotel tax charged to your bill. Don't worry, it's not a surprise party—just a small part of the bill!

  • We do have several ways to settle your bill while you are here.  We much prefer cash, but also accept credit cards in the office, or we can send you a web link to pay on line.

    • The best signal for the Wi-Fi is in the back garden gazebo. 

  • Villa: Username and password are pinned to the fridge door. Because who doesn't love a good fridge note?

  •  Please be advised that the farther cabins might struggle with streaming marathons. Unplugging is encouraged!

  • Check-In: 3:00 PM - 7:00 PM

  • Check-Out: Before 11:00 AM

  • Flexibility: If no other guests are arriving or departing, we can be flexible with times and hold your bags if needed. We’ve got your back!

Additional Guest Services and Information

While staying with us Please Make note:

•Our septic systems are delicate. Please do not flush anything but toilet paper down the toilet. •When turning on your AC (if you have it in your unit) please ensure all windows and doors are properly closed. •To operate the AC remote it is easier to just use the turn ”on” and “o”ff button and the “up” and “down” temp arrows and not mess with the other settings. It is hard to reprogram them. •Please, For the health of the planet as well as our bill, make sure to turn off ALL lights and AC Units when you leave or when they are not needed. Thank you, we really appreciate your diligence in this matter! •We do not envision any problems, but it is better to be safe than sorry. So… Please lock up your units before you leave. We are NOT responsible for anything lost or stolen out of your unit. •If you loose your room key there is a $20 bzd replacement fee. •Please be sure to close all food containers and not leave food out or uncovered. It’s a jungle out there and the ants and other critters will find it. Thanks •If you have extra garbage please make sure to tie up the bag tightly and put in our outdoor trash reciprocals. •Please hang up all towels and wet cloths after use. Its is the tropics and things mold fast!! •Our laundry service is $10usd or $20bzd per load any size. Payable upon your check out. Please give us 12 hours to get it through our laundry system. •For safety also, particularly if you are traveling alone, please let us know what your agenda is, and if you are planning to be out late at night, please let us know so we can keep the lights on for you. FOOD OPTION - Breakfast, lunch and dinner options with Ananda Guesthouse - Sign Up Required By 3PM the day before •BREAKFAST - we provide complimentary tea and coffee all day long. we also put out fruit and bakery bread free of charge in the morning for guests to enjoy. if you would like to order a real substantial breakfast we charge $15 usd and it is a continental style serve yourself buffet. please order the day before if you would like this option. •LUNCH Want to have a day "In" and Relax and enjoy the peaceful spa and jungle garden atmosphere; eat a delicious healthy lunch with tons of fresh ingredients, take some deep breaths and connect. Its pure bliss. Our lunch options are a lovely start or ending to a spa treatment, massage, or Maya healing session too!!!! we charge $22usd per person ($44bzd) for a fully catered experience which includes juices, and desert. see the menu here https://www.balancepointwellnessbz.com/services-3 •DINNER, if you are coming in late from your flight or tour having dinner in house is your best option. Our exquisite evening feasts are eaten together in a family style. Our menu specializes in ethnic Belizean dishes with a flare, offering a tantalizing array of options to satisfy diverse palates and dietary preferences. Our family dinner ensures a memorable culinary journey filled with exceptional flavors and warm hospitality. $ 26.00 USD ($52.00 bzd). •Do you have diet restrictions ? No problem, We always offer vegan and vegetarian options for the breakfast and dinner sign up the day before is required for with dinner and breakfast and can be added to your room account. •We encourage you to explore the local cuisine and There are loads of really nice local food restaurants in the village and in San Ignacio Town ask us about our recommendations.

ANANDA PAVILION & YOGA •Ananda Pavilion is Open for use by guests when no classes or events in session. Remember to turn off lights and fans to conserve our solar power. • Wildlife and Birdwatching is prime. Expect howler monkeys, toucans, hummingbirds, and more. Bring your binoculars (or borrow ours) and enjoy the show! •Yoga classes are $15 per person, with private sessions for $80 USD. These aren’t included in the room rate unless you’re on a package. Ask us about our current schedule and Sign up in advance for regular classes or book private sessions anytime. •Current regular classes are on Wednesdays and Fridays at 8am and on Sunday at 5pm

MASSAGE & SPA TREATMENTS •Our wellness center offers a variety of massages and treatments, including traditional Maya treatments and spiritual cleansing. Book your session to experience ultimate relaxation. •Book your treatments around your activities. Advance booking is recommended to get your preferred times. •Massages aren’t included unless you’ve got a package deal. We have an array of treatments in our indoor and outdoor facilities. Book ahead to secure your pampering session.

WALKING OUR TRAILS •Our trail system starts at the Main Reception area. Guests are invited to use our 10-acre fenced property, with lovely wooded areas and open fields for exploring the jungle safely. • Medicinal Plant Tours: Learn about jungle plant medicine from Don Rene, a local expert. – it’s like a jungle classroom!. Tours are $10 USD per person. Reservations required. •Wildlife Precautions: Wear closed-toed shoes, use bug spray, and watch out for ants. They’re small but mighty!

RIVER SWIMMING AND TUBING •Swimming in the river is safe…. USUALLY, except during the rainy season (June-September). The river is a short walk away with a great swimming spot at Mahogany Hall Hotel who have a nice area maintained as public access to the river. (also featuring a nice bar and grill ) Please see the area map in your green folder in your room for directions. •Float away on our complimentary tubes for a relaxing day!
